Vörösné Endrei Erzsébet fényképész

“… az igazat mondd, ne csak a valódit,
a fényt, amelytől világlik agyunk,
hisz egymás nélkül sötétben vagyunk.”

Hatvanban születtem 1958. január 24-én. Sikeres érettségi vizsga után a budapesti (Práter utcai) 6. sz. I. SZ. I. beszámolós fényképész tanulója lettem.

Curriculum Vitae (eng)

I was born on January 24th, 1958 in Hatvan, Hungary. Having taken my school leaving examination, I attended the Budapest, Práter Street School of Photography, where I was trained and supervised by master in photography Pál Bakos. During these years photography became my hobby and I took part in projects, some of which gained success. Unfortunately, in the following years I could not spend time on this pleasure, but doing photography by profession as a daily service, became part of my life. From 1980 to 1982 I worked for a cooperative, then from 1982 on, I continued the trade working as an artisan. In 2000, so as to perfect my knowledge, I attended the ‘Introduction to Professional Photography’ course organised by the Association of Hungarian Photographers, followed by the ‘Master Course’ in 2001. During this training I was introduced to experienced photographers and artists of photography and with observing the tricks of the trade, that we were presented, I managed to acquire a way of accomplishing and designing that even today is determinative. In 2002, I attended a one-year course on digital photography run by the Association, under the tuition and practical training of artist photographer Gábor Módos. It was in this year when I decided to switch on to the digital technique. Since then I have been working with this technique trying to explore the endless possibilities it provides. Being enthralled by the quality that can be produced, I feel that I can come closer to my customers’ requirements and the demand I have set up for myself. Acknowledgements During the years of practising this profession, apart from the service side, I have always been interested in cultivating a more sophisticated photography. Owing to this urge, whenever I had some free time, I felt inspired to produce photos of an artistic demand, some of which have appeared in professional magazines, too. I participated in ‘My friends, the animals’ photo competition in Salgótarján. I won 1st prize in black-and-white category with my photo called ‘Iris’ at the XXX. Photo-Exhibition of North-Hungary. I also took part in the XIII. National Photo Exhibition organised in honour of Pál Rosti, with a work named ‘Glamour’. I received the ‘Organizer’s Special Award’ in the ‘Photographer of the Year’ competition launched in the professional magazine called ‘Foto Video’. In 2002 and in 2003 I had individual exhibitions in Bajza József Secondary Grammar School and in the Ady Endre Library in Hatvan. I obtained further awards with my works in 2003, exhibited at the ‘Tarka Fesztivál’ (Colourful Festival) in Bonyhád, at the ‘Photo of the Year’ exhibition organised by TIT (Association for Education and Science) in Győr, and at the ‘Nude-photo Exhibition’ in Szentes. In 2004, as part of a selected ten-member team, I participated in the ‘International Colour Photo Biennale’ in Luxemburg with a photo called ‘Black and White’.
